Two Handed Fighting Dah with Superb Blade - 6017

A Classical two handed fighting sword Dha from Burma with an exceptional quality blade. The slightly curved heavy blade is 21 inches long, heavy, with a double fuller and spear point. The back of the spine is also fullered and the blade heel is lightly engraved. The grip is wood, almost 10 inches long (It looks somewhat shorter than original and with a replaced pommel), bound with alternating black and brown braided rattan rings. Wood scabbard also bound with braided rattan bands and with the original red baldric belt. Good condition. The blade has suffered some battle scars and edge nicks. Few of the rattan bands on the scabbard are missing and a very small wood chip near the scabbard mouth. Simple cover to a superb blade of quality, intended for fighting and probably has seen some battles.
