This unusual and rare Indian weapon is similar to the South American Bola, and used in a similar way. It is composed of three steel double edge blades, deadly sharp, connected together to form a chain like throwing weapon, ending with two 2 inch diameter steel balls with partially faceted faces. Blades are probably forged from pattern welded steel. one of the blade is stamped with a maker mark. Indian, 18 C. Total length (fully stretched) 31 inches. Very good condition with good untouched age patina. Very rare weapon.
