"Mother of all Qamas" might be a better definition for this monster: A 30 inches long, almost 3 inches wide blade, well made and finely fullered, stamped with a maker mark. To demonstrate its dimensions it is shown below next to a regular size Qama. Horn grips with steel rivets. Total length 38 inches. Very good condition. Age crack on one of the grips but it is very solid. This massive sword is most probably of Persian or nearby central Asian origin mid to late 18 C. Very rare.
