The Badek (or Badik) is a knife / dagger /Java, Indonesia. It is characterized by its single edge blade with straight back and up-curving edge, and the pistol grip shape handle. This one has a classical shape blade: 8 1/2 inches long, forged from good pamor steel. Well patinated ivory handle. Wood scabbard. Total length (in scabbard) 11 1/2 inches. Very good condition. Minor wood chips on the scabbard.
