Up for sale is this fine and heavy Chinese mace. The 34 inches blade is of diamond cross section, entirely covered with fine silver koftgari work. The grip is hard wood and the pommel is oval shaped heavy steel both covered with thick black lacquer. Wood scabbard with brass mounts and thick lacquer cover. Total length 40 inches. Very good condition. Minor losses to the silver inlay. Some losses to the lacquer cover of the pommel and the grip. Very fine rare item.
