This fine Khayber sword is of the classical 19 C. Afghan design, but one of good quality and excellent condition. Long 24 inches, single edge blade with a pronounced T spine, forged from good Indian wootz (Crystalline) steel. Ribbed horn grips with steel bolsters. Very fine scabbard with decorative tooled leather, steel seam cover and steel mounts. Total length 32 inches. Excellent condition.
