Good Bedouin Sword from the Sinai Peninsula - 9767
The traditional sword of the Bedouin tribes that live in the Sinai Peninsula, in Israel and in Jordan. The Bedouin sword smiths will use every available blade for their swords. This is a fine example with a well forged blade of good quality, probably a European trade blade. Blade length 291/2 inches. The horn grips are s riveted to the blade tang with three rivets and bound with copper wire. Total length 34 1/2 inches. Very good condition. No scabbard. |
