Developed from the Kindjal style dagger, this one is known as Bebut and was used by the Russian military forces in the imperial period as well as afterward. This one is dated to 1913, with many marks and numbers, including the personal number 1774646 of the solider owned it engraved crudely on both the handle and the scabbard. Blade length 17 inches. Wood handle and leather scabbard both with brass mounts Total 24 inches. Very good condition. Minor pitted spots on the blade.
