We offer for sale this interesting, late 19 C. Persian sword in the style also known as Revival sword, as it imitates older Persian swords. This beautiful blade is 31 inches long curved in the shape of the Kilij swords, with a pronounced T spine and raised back edge (yelmen). The blade is elaborately etched on its two faces in the typical Qajar style with Arabic inscription. The hilt is steel, with down curving quillons. Total length 37 inches. No scabbard. Very good condition. Very good age patina on the blade and the handle.
