This sword is an Indian Tulwar sword, with a classical shape blade, heavy, slightly curved 31 1/2 inches long with a 3 inches ricasso. The blade is forged from very good wootz (Watered, Damascus) steel. The handle is steel, covered with silver and finely engraved. The scabbard is covered with blue velvet and mounted with pierced silver mounts. Total length 38 inches. Very good condition. Silver mounts and scabbard cover are restored.
