This fine sword may come from the armory of Bikaner in Rajasthan, India. The typical armory dot marking is clearly seen on the spine. Straight heavy blade, 31 inches long, nicely fullered with 11 inches back edge. The blade is finely laminated. Steel handle with a bird shape pommel and gold koftgari inlay decoration. Original scabbard with a new velvet cover and silver tip. Very good condition. A fine impressive sword.
