One of the best we have seen - A very fine representative of the family of Khyber swords. This one is coming from North India, with a long slender blade 22 inches long, with a pronounced T spine. The blade is forged from fine Wootz (Damascus, watered) steel of delicate pattern. It is finely chiseled at its base and along and below the spine. The grips are sectors of bone and the steel bolsters and grips strap are chiseled in the same pattern as the blade. Total length 27 inches. Very good condition. A very fine and impressive sword.
