Up for sale is this late 18 C. short rifle, Turkish,. Very fine heavy barrel, twisted steel, 23 inches long, Octagonal shaped. Later Miquelet lock of fine quality, richly inlaid with silver. The wood stock and butt are richly and very elaborately inlaid with ivory, partially green dyed and set with dense mosaic of brass inserts. Total length 35 inches. Very good condition. Lock in perfect working order. Few inserts are missing. A very fine piece.
