A 19 Century Japanese powder flask, made of black lacquered wood 4X4 ½ inches size, 1 ½ inches thick with a brass cap and whale bone attachment. Few Japanese letters are inscribed on the wood. Very good condition with very minor lacquer damage. The threads are probably recent.
