We offer here this fine Caucasian Miquelet Rifle. The barrel is 43 inches long forged from fine twisted Damascus steel, clearly visible on its entire length. The lock is a Miquelet type decorated with gold inlay. The stock is made of beautifully grained walnut with silver mounts and ivory inserts. The butt is carved from a solid piece of Walrus ivory. Total length 56 inches. Very good condition. Lock in working order but needs a minor adjustment. The top screw of the hammer is restored. The back strip of the barrel is cracked but holds firm. Several silver bands are later replacement.
