This is a big one: Blade 20 inches, total length 27 inches. The blade with the off centered fuller and gold koftgari decoration is most probably of Persian origin. The ivory grips, the design of the gold inlaid steel grip strap and the handle and scabbard mounts of pierced silver all looks with a strong Indian influence. One thing for sure, heavy , massive well built sword of very impressive dimensions and decoration. Very good condition. Losses to the scabbard leather cover.
