Up for sale is this very good Saif sword from Ethiopia, early 20 C. Haile Selassie period. The blade is European made, probably British, 31 inches long, finely etched with floral pattern and the emblem of the emperor. Horn handle with shining orange tint, probably a giraffe horn with engraved brass dome pommel. Total length 36 inches. Very good condition. Minor chip to the horn. No scabbard. A very impressive sword.
