Up for sale is this fine Kard knife, Turkmenistan, early 19C. Very fine Wootz blade 8 1/2 inches long with the bolster forged in one piece with the blade. Ivory grips: Left grip walrus, right one elephant ivory but both are old and original. Steel grips strap. Heavy silver cylindrical scabbard with small turquoise stones set at the top. 14 inches. Very good condition. Good age patina and minor age cracks on both grips. Several of the turquoise stones are later replacement.
