Up for sale is this fine and impressive, real fighting War hammer / axe of the Zaghnal family, India, late 18 C. The massive heavy curved blade is 9 inches long finely fullered and with a thickened armor piercing tip. It is forged as one piece with two steel lions on the top of the blade and a steel elephant on the back. Steel haft with a concealed 14 inches blade in the haft. Total length 28 inches. Very good condition. An impressive rare war hammer.
