Up for sale is this massive Chinese knife, mid 19 C. Heavy thick blade 13 1/2 inches long and almost 8 mm thick forged from finely laminated steel. The blade is marked with a Chinese character. The grips are heavy slabs of tortoise shell (??). The scabbard is covered with ray skin. Total length 20 inches. Very good condition. Repairs on the grips. A very impressive knife.
