This is a good and typical example of the knife from the island of Crete in the Mediterranean. The 9 inches blade is single edge engraved with a typical design. Handle with bone grips widening toward the pommel in a form of split ears. The bolster and grip strap are chased silver. Wood scabbard covered with green leather with brass chape. Total length in scabbard 16 inches. Very good condition. A nice early to mid 20 C typical Crete knife.
