This fine barong sword is Moro, mid to late 19 C, with the blade marked with Chinese characters (Most of the blade smiths in the Philippines where Chinese). Fine blade, 17 inches long, forged from nicely laminated steel, marked with Chinese Characters. Very finely carved hardwood handle, with a long silver collar with horn and mother of pearl inserts. Total length 25 inches. Very good condition. Age cracks on the handle. No scabbard
