Up for sale is this beautiful Ceremonial / Fighting War hammer / axe of the Zaghnal family, India, late 19 C. The massive heavy curved blade is 6 inches long with a pronounced central rib. It is mounted with two small brass lions on the top of the blade and a brass elephant on the back. Steel haft. Both blade and handle are lightly decorated with silver koftgari work. Total length 24 inches. Very good condition. Losses to the silver koftgari work.
