From India, late 19 to early 20 C. comes this battle axe. The axe head 2 1/2 X 3 inches, with a rear re-curving blade 7 inches long with a thickened tip. The steel haft is 24 inches long ending with a 3 1/2 inches steel pike. Ake head and blade are decorated with silver koftgari work. Total length 28 inches. Good condition. Losses to the silver inlay work.
