B>Spanish Colonial sword is the common name for these rare and unusual swords, however, where they were used is not very clear. It was attributed to Spanish troops serving in Spanish Morocco, and/or Philippines and/or Cuba and other Central America countries. Fine blade, 35 inches long, with a reverse clipped tip (reminding in a way the so called "Berber sword" blades. 11 inches ricasso and only 23 inches of the blade are edged. Brass handle with horn inserts. Total length 41 inches. Very good condition. Very scarce sword. |
