This saber has some characteristics of East European origin. The blade shape, the handle and the handle fittings. Blade 31 inches, nicely fullered and marked with the Eye lashes markings and small stars. Sometime later, some crude engraving of simple flowers was added. Horn grips with brass cross guard and grips strap. Leather covered scabbard with spiral stitching and brass mounts. Total length 37 inches. Very good condition. Repairs on the grip strap. Few repairs and leather replacements on the scabbard.
