An authentic and old hide shield of the Massai tribe residing in East Africa. It is 40 inches long, 23 inches wide made of heavy hide stretched on a wooden frame and painted in red black and brown. Fair condition. The hide as been slightly age distorted and wrinkled. Some of the paint is lost and the rest is lightly faded. Minor tears and cuts in the hide, but altogether a real authentic piece. NOT one more of the souvenirs quality shields sold so much recently.
