Up for sale is this fine and rare item, a Turkish style Qama short sword. The heavy wide blade is 17 inches long and 2 1/2 inches wide, stamped with a maker mark and with two fullers with etched design. Massive walrus handle with filigree silver rosettes. The scabbard is wood covered with very fine chased silver. Total length 25 inches. Very good condition. Few blackened spots on the blade and an age crack on the handle. A fine complete item.
