The sword, of classical mameluke style has a curved slender blade, 30 inches long, finely etched on both faces. A gold inlaid inscription: SULTAN SUMANAP. PAKOE. NATA.NINGRAT. on one side, and KOLONEL G. BAKKER on the other. Gilded brass cross guard and grip strap with ivory grips. Nickel plated metal scabbard. Total length 37 inches. Very good condition. Cracks and repairs on the grips. Dented scabbard in few places.
