This shield is coming from Rajhastan, India 18 C or a bit later. Made from the hide of a buffalo, 21 inches diameter, beautifully hand painted with brown, yellow and black colors on dark red background and set with four ribbed brass bosses. Original velvet covered hand cushion and handles (torn) on the red painted inner side. Very good condition with age cracks on the paint.
