Up for sale is this very good fighting Kora sword of a classical shape and design. The heavy blade is 19 inches long with the very wide 4 1/2 inches tip is sharply down curving with the edge of the blade on the concave side. The blade is marked with the “Lucky” talisman eye mark. The unusual diamond shape grip reminds similar grips on Sikh swords and may suggest a Sikh origin for this Kora. Total length 23 1/2 inches. Very good condition. This Kora comes from the collection of John Powell, SF, a world known collection of Nepalese and related weapons.
