Up for sale is this early Moro Kris sword. The relatively short and slender blade as well as the fullering, the Ganja size and the steel clamp all suggest early 19 C. or earlier. 20 inches undulating blade, laminated steel. Wood handle bound with thread and silver bands and hardwood Cockatoo style pommel. Grained wood scabbard with black horn tip. Total length 25 inches. Very good condition. Pitted spots with few forging flaw and minor de-lamination areas on the blade. Wood chips from the pommel tip and scabbard top. Minor restoration on the grip binding.
