This very good massive sword is coming India, supposedly made for execution, but more reasonably a fine battle sword. The massive blade is curved heavy 35 inches long and two inches wide, with a 12 inches back edge. Deadly sharp, hollow ground cross section forged from fine pattern welded steel. Massive brass handle. Total length 40 inches. Very good condition with minor battle scars on the spine. No scabbard. A very interesting old label is attached to the handle with hand inscription: TULWAR ex Hooper, April 62 £ 2 (We wish this would have been the price these days). A very impressive sword.
