We offer for sale this sword from Bhutan. It has a straight heavy single edge 24 inches long blade, forged from finely laminated steel in the pattern known as Hairpin Folding. The folded layers can be clearly seen at the blade tip. A similar laminated steel is also used in the Tibetan Ke-Tri long swords. The grip is wood bound with sting ray skin and comes with engraved steel pommel cover. The scabbard is wood covered with green dyed sting ray skin and with a leather top and big brass chape. Total length 30 inches. Very good condition. A small area of the grip binding is missing.
