This extremely interesting sword is most probably of European origin, may be Italian. The blade is very heavy, 31 inches, 2 inches wide, 8 mm thick and with a vary long 18 inches false edge. The blade is marked with a amker mark and engraved and etched with inscriptions in Latin. The handle is steel, in the style of an Indian Tulwar. Wood scabbard with red fabric (new) and silver fittings also in the Indian style. Total length 39 inches. Very good condition.
