Up for sale is this Indian sword, late 19 C., with Shamshir style blade and all steel Tulwar style handle. Blade 31 inches, deeply curved, single serrated edged. Total length 36 inches. Very good condition. Minor blackened spots on the blade. The handle was blackened (chemically ??) and shows a fine shining dark surface. No scabbard. A very unusual blade.
