Up for sale is this very fine Kattar push dagger, India, probably early to mid 18 C or there about. The heavy blade 9 1/2 inches long is slightly curved, forged from Indian wootz steel (crystalline) and with a central rib and armor piercing tip. The blade is riveted to a steel handle with flaring side bars. The side bars and the cross bars are finely decorated with delicate floral design in true silver inlay work. Total length 16 inches. Very good condition. No scabbard. A very fine piece in excellent condition.
