Early Chinese Coin Sword - 8751

Not really a weapon but well associated with. A sword shape structure wholly made from old coins tied to a steel rod. Length 17 inches. This items comes with a small ball also made from similar coins, and few loose coins. In the old Chinese tradition, these are "guardian swords" hung over a baby's crib at home for spiritual protection. This one is an early one, probably mid to late 19 C., well made and a real authentic item from the Chinese folklore, and not one of the cheap copies sold in the bazaars of the east.
