This is a mid 20C. Chinese eating set comprising a knife and two chopsticks. The blade is of good steel, 6 inches long. The grips are horn and the pommel is chased brass. The chopsticks are ivory with brass tips, unfortunately one is missing. The scabbard is wood covered with a brown yellow material (NOT tortoise shell), mounted with beautifully chased brass fittings and set with small corals and Turquoise stones. Total length in scabbard is 11 inches. Good condition. The chopsticks are slightly curved as a result of age shrink of the ivory.
