This is a mid 19 C. Chinese eating set comprising a knife and two chopsticks. The blade is of good steel, 6 inches long with a single fuller. The grips are wood and the pommel part is bone. The chopsticks are also bone. The scabbard is of very interesting construction, wood covered with dense array of brass wires , with chased copper fittings. Total length in scabbard is 11 inches. Good quality and condition. The chopstick are slightly curved as a result of age shrink of the bone.
