A nice find: A complete 19C. Chinese bow with 5 arrows (two broken). The bow is of the composite structure, 46 1/2 inches long, 17 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches thick. It is painted with black red and white colors with gold paint decoration. The center sector is covered with ray skin, dyed in green and inlaid with white inserts also cut from ray skin, and bound with a (later ??) fabric cover. This bow comes with its original string (torn). The arrows are long, 35 inches each with steel blades and long feathered tails. Good condition. Cracked and faded paints. String torn. Two arrows broken.
