We offer for sale this nice late 19 C. Persian sword in the style also known as Revival sword, as it imitates older Persian swords. This beautiful blade is 32 1/2 inches long and slightly curved. The entire blade is elaborately etched on its two faces in the typical Qajar style with Arabic inscription. The hilt is steel, with down curving quillons, and was decorated with silver koftgary work, now mostly gone. Total length 37 1/2 inches. No scabbard. Very good condition.
