This huge Chinese sword is also known as Ox-Tail Saber or Niuweidao . The huge blade is 28 inches long, engraved with Dragons on its heel on both sides. The blade widest section is about a quarter length from the tip. The hilt is composed of a round steel cross guard, wood grip bound with dark blue thread and steel pommel. Total length 36 inches. Very good condition. Blackened areas on the blade with shallow rust spots.
