We offer for sale this 17 C. Indian mail armor set consisting of a head cover, mail and plates shirt and mail trousers. from. The head cover is composed of mail only around a small steel disk at the top. The shirt is made of four breast plate with buckles, four side plates and five rows of scales on the back. All composed of many thousands of separate rings each one interlaced with four other rings and each one individually riveted. Shirt 38 inches tall and 66 inches wide with sleeves fully stretched. The trousers are 37 inches long. Good condition. Some missing rings in all parts. Few scales loose. Shallow rust. Trousers mail partially open. Very attractive price.
