This Khanjar Dagger from the early 20 C. is of Classical shape and size is coming from the area bordering Southern Syria and Northern Israel. Short heavy curved blade of flat diamond cross section, 6 inches long. I shaped handle composed of layers of horn and bone inlaid with brass inserts and with brass separators. Wood scabbard with iron fittings inlaid with silver koftgari work. Total length 11 1/2 inches. Good condition. Silver inlay partially worn. Few inserts on the handle are missing. Very low price.
