This is a short Chinese straight sword Jian from the late 19 or early 20 C. The straight blade of flat diamond cross section is 15 ½ inches long. Ribbed wood grip, beautifully engraved brass fitting and brown-yellow tortoise shell scabbard cover. Total length 22 inches. Very good condition. Very Attractive Price.
