Up for sale is this fine and rare short sword of the Boa people from Zaire. A finely forged and well made blade, 16 ½ inches long The handle is wood, entirely covered with iron strips. Very rare and original wood scabbard bound with rattan fibers in a decorative design. Total length 20 inches. Very good condition. Some minor cracks and damaged tip on the scabbard. It is very rare to find these swords with their original scabbard.
