Moroccan Dagger with Rhino Horn Handle - 8325

From our private collection we offer for sale this unusual knife / dagger from Morocco, late 19 or early 20 C. The blade, probably a cut down from a longer knife or sword, is almost 9 inches long, with a 4 ½ inches back edge. The handle is carved from a massive piece of Rhino horn, mounted with silver bolster and silver pommel button. Wood scabbard with silver locket and chape, covered with black leather, with two side rings for belt attachment. Total length 15 inches. Very good condition. A very interesting item at a very attractive price.
