Up for sale here is this fine and heavy Tegha sword, India, mid 19 C. The heavy and thick curved blade is 25 inches long, 2 ½ inches wide with a raised 10 inches back edge. The Tulwar style handle is steel finely inlaid with silver dots all around. The scabbard is covered with blue velvet with a heavy silver tip. Total length 31 inches. Very good condition The velvet cover and silver tip are later to the sword.
