Up for auction is this very unusual head Axe, India, probably 18 C. It consists of three blades connected one on top of the other and all mounted on one shaft ( missing). The biggest blade is aemi circular, 6 ½ inces long. On top of it is the second blade 5 inches long and additional 5 ½ inches spear like blade at the very top. It is engraved with elegant geometrical design along the spines. Total length 18 inches. Very good condition. Very fine, untouched age patina. A rare piece.
